  • The F*ing Truth About Sexuality After Abuse

    Those who have survived situational or ongoing abuse often feel misunderstood or unsafe, which can cause significant distress in future sexual relationships. This workshop offers strategies for survivors and their partners to understand and advocate their specific needs and explore sexuality from a healing lens. Faculty: Leighanna Nordstrom (Cost: $35)

    Juneteenth commemorates African American freedom and emphasizes education and achievement. It is a time for reflection and rejoicing.   • 26 Pride Celebration at the Museum of Science

    Join the museum for a special event highlighting the LGBTQ+ community's contributions, innovations, and leadership in science, the arts, and more. As part of the Museum’s Pride Celebration, "Slay The Entire Month and Beyond!" offers LGBTQ+ Bostonians a welcoming and affirming space to gather and celebrate. The evening features music and performances throughout the night, classic Museum of Science interactive presentations, and more.

  • Anniversary of Stonewall Riots

    The Stonewall Riots, also called the Stonewall Uprising, began in the early hours of June 28, 1969 when New York City police raided the Stonewall Inn, a gay club located in Greenwich Village in New York City. The Stonewall Riots served as a catalyst for the gay rights movement in the United States and around the world.

  • Pleasure After Betrayal

    Faculty: Renelle E. Nelson

    In “Pleasure After Betrayal,” sexuality professionals will gain tools to help individuals and couples navigate infidelity, rebuild trust, restore emotional and physical intimacy, and reclaim authentic connection. With guided tools and candid discussion, professionals can offer a path back to pleasure after the pain of betrayal. (Cost: $35)

  • International Non-Binary People’s Day

    International Non-Binary People's Day is observed each year on 14 July and is aimed at raising awareness and organizing around the issues faced by non-binary people around the world. The day was first celebrated in 2012. The date was chosen for being precisely between International Men's Day and International Women's Day.

  • Figuring Out Fertility: Choice, Access, and Modern Family Formation

    This lecture will explore paths to ‘figure out fertility’ and family building in contemporary social, legal, and technological contexts. Drawing on interdisciplinary research and practice, it will outline choices and access across diverse family forms, highlighting how inequality, policy, and cultural norms shape reproductive possibilities and pathways to making family today.   • Love Bomb-ed: Recovering and Identifying the Signs

    Faculty: Anna Goodhand

    ‘Love Bomb-ing’ is growing in our vocabulary and awareness: it includes two parts, Idealization then Devaluation in relationships. Solely Love Bomb-ing is not abuse, but often its impact can be Traumatic and devastating. And there are ways to cope afterwards. There are signs that this may be showing up and there are ways to slow down and check in with the potential ‘bomber’ to protect yourself. (Cost: $35)

  • Black Mamas Voices Disclose Racism

    Faculty: Dianne R Browne, PhD, CSE

    Maternal mortality, an important topic in sexuality, needs attention. NJ Health News, 2026 reports the risk of maternal mortality is 7.6 times greater among Black/African American women than white women. Focus groups with African American/Black women sharing antenatal experiences illuminate the impact of racism during those periods. (Cost: $35)

    Awareness helps the public understand that symptoms like irregular periods and pelvic pain are not something to be ignored and getting it checked is necessary. While there is no cure for PCOS, there are treatments that can help ease the stress and complications of specific symptoms. The more people that are informed of PCOS the better chances for early diagnosis.

    This lecture explores how dating apps, texting culture, stress, boundaries, and communication patterns impact emotional intimacy and connection in modern relationships.     Research suggests that kink and BDSM-related interests and behaviors are more common than many people realize, with studies showing a wide range of prevalence depending on how kink is defined and measured.   • Hacking Sex Toys: Creative Solutions for Disabled Sex

    Disabled sex can be tricky when we run into barriers, but disabled sex is also creative, restorative, exploratory, and vast in how it looks from person to person.     BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

    Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an international health campaign that’s held every October. The month aims to promote screening and prevention of the disease, which affects 2.3 million women worldwide. Known best for its pink theme color, the month features a number of campaigns and programs — conducted by groups ranging from breast cancer advocacy organizations to local community organizations to major retailers.

  • Tools for Creating LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Spaces

    This training will cover vocabulary, using gender neutral language and correct pronouns, answering tough questions, and will provide opportunities for skill building utilizing real-life examples plus more. Any and all are welcome to attend, including educators, nurses, school nurses, human resource professionals, medical and health providers, disability service providers, youth-serving professionals, law enforcement officers, etc. (Cost: $295)
