You can stretch a condom over a watermelon – but did anyone ask how it feels? This interactive, research-based, body-positive workshop provides practical strategies for educators to increase condom use by talking about proper condom fit. When condoms fit right and work as intended, they increase comfort, confidence, and likelihood of use.

A well-planned parent information meeting builds trust and prevents disinformation. This one-hour, practical workshop will help you design a remote or in-person sex ed curriculum night. You’ll learn how to go beyond notification requirements and clearly communicate curriculum goals, address FAQs with confidence, provide parents with useful resources, and establish a collaborative tone that minimizes controversy.

Young men don't always enter the manosphere from a place of hate, rather often through relatable experiences. This workshop explores the current landscape of the manosphere, including subgroups such as red/black pill communities, incels, men’s rights activists, passport bros, groypers, and looksmaxxers, as well as their connections to nihilistic and extremist violence. Participants will learn to identify key linguistic patterns and “red flags” that signal engagement with these ideologies. They will leave with practical, stigma-free strategies to address the underlying needs that draw young people into these spaces.

Tara Michaela Jones is a sex education content creator, social media manager, and chronically online Gen-Z-er. She also founded The Youth Sexpert Program, a sex education program for teens, with online safety and digital culture baked into the curriculum. Though she'll attest that no one understands the manosphere quite like those within it, her lived digital experience and feminist background allow her to track how these communities operate, evolve, and recruit, and allow her to analyze them.

Men & Boys: Patriarchy & Consent will be a combination of presentation, facilitated questions, shared experiences and discussion to address the challenges of patriarchal narratives, behavior and oppressive power in educational, community, organizational and family contexts.

Immigrant newcomers and multilingual learners are learning a new language and academic system. How can we as sexuality educators create an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom to talk about sex? This workshop focuses on the relationship between the teacher, the learner, and the knowledge they can produce together. 

Youth and Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) are often left out of the conversation about sexuality, almost as if they are incapable of having thoughts, feelings, and needs. In reality, they, too, are sexual beings who need information and skills for making healthy decisions about sexuality. This workshop will help you become more comfortable talking about this sensitive topic by teaching tips and tools for working and teaching with this population.

Consent education must go beyond definitions and just saying no. This interactive session equips middle school educators with trauma-informed, culturally responsive strategies to teach healthy relationships, boundaries, and interpersonal safety in ways that reduce shame, increase student voice, and address the realities of interpersonal and sexual violence.

This workshop covers why addressing current events in sex education & youth spaces matters and why it might be challenging to do. Participants gain practical tools and adaptable activities through a trauma-informed lens to help youth process difficult topics such as ICE, elections, climate change, and more.

This workshop will empower educators & teachers in K-12 and higher education to create environments welcoming for survivors of childhood sexual abuse and sexual violence. You will learn actionable skills and develop a toolkit needed to set up a trauma-informed space.

Top to Bottom Sex Ed is an LGBTQ+ inclusive, sex-positive workshop aimed at teens and young adults. Top to Bottom goes over safer sex, STI’s, pregnancy prevention, and consent and boundaries. It also includes a section on sex and disability, and sex for folks who are trans and nonbinary.

Anonymous questions are often considered the heart and soul of really good sex education programs, but they bring questions of all sorts that many sex educators haven't received training on how to answer. In this workshop, we'll talk about questions that cover personal, offensive, insulting, political, theoretical, age inappropriate, and just plain unanticipated topics that students (young and old!) lob at their sex educators. Along with a set of guidelines that helps organize the process and sets facilitators up for success, we'll go over internal tricks and tips to allow you to create your own, personalized style to answering these questions with finesse and within the requirements of your organizations.

This interactive workshop invites participants to move, reflect, and connect through storytelling, guided experiences and meaningful conversation. Participants learn how showing up, paying attention, and expressing personal, specific appreciation can deepen relationships, strengthen belonging, and help us live with fewer unresolved regrets.
