Sex Ed Mythbusters

Vodka tampons? Blue waffle? Double bagging? Microwavable plastic wrap? Sexual myths and urban legends spread misinformation, gendered stereotypes and moral panic.

Many of these myths are perpetuated by our students but many are also repeated by us. Sex educators should know about these myths and have the tools to investigate them.

In the fun, interactive style of MythBusters, we will investigate the “common wisdom” critically and put it to scientific scrutiny: We won’t just tell the myths – we’ll put them to the test!

Available for interactive presentations and educational keynotes.
